The trail takes you around acouple lakes & through some hammocks.
From Crystal River head towards Homosassa on US19. Turn Right onto Fort Island Trail (SR 44W). Then turn Left onto Dixie Shore Blvd, trailhead will be up on the Right about 1/10 of a mile when you turn onto the road.
